Benchmark - Bangdb Embedded, Billion Ops Test

One Billion Ops

This is a performance test for One Billion ops (write and read) using only single thread. It wrote 12+ times more data than allocated memory(5GB). We used less than $500 commodity hardware (4 core, 8GB, i5, 500GB Hard Disk, Linux 3.2) to perform this activity. The Put ops took less than 56 min while Get was completed in around 31 min. The aim of graph is to show the variability of TPS for the reads and the writes. The X-axis is tics which is 1 sec and Y-axis is Ops/Sec.


Two Billion Ops

Repeat with Two Billions this time on the same machine with same config. It wrote ~25 times more data than allocated memory(5GB). The Put ops took ~ 125 min while Get was completed in around 67 min.


Four Billion Ops

Repeat with Four Billions this time on the same machine with same config. It wrote ~50 times more data than allocated memory(5GB). The Put ops took ~ 265 min while Get was completed in around 130 min.
